New blog - Moving towards Stillness
Tony B has begun sharing his experience among Friends on the blog Moving Towards Stillness. I find his posts to be tender and personal. Perhaps you will too.
The comment did not feel in good order to me because (1) news of Friend Tom is covered elsewhere, and (2) I am concerned that the long comment was posted without first consulting me about that possibility.
I do not write blog posts lightly, nor do I remove comments with an easy heart. Ministry is ministry, but The Good Raised Up is for sharing leadings, thoughts, and experiences around a certain theme. I am open to directing readers elsewhere when others encourage me to do so, as the above commenter has done indirectly.
I know the saying: "It is better to ask forgiveness than it is to ask permission." But I don't abide by that saying as often as others in our s/Society do.
I am moderating comments for posts older than 30 days, so you may not necessarily see your comment online right away. I retain the right to choose *not* to publish comments, especially if they are for particularly old posts, and/or if the comment repeats points made in earlier comments. --Liz

ReplyDeleteI have deleted the above comment which was about Friend Tom Fox of Christian Peacemaker Teams.
