I have deleted the above comment which was about Friend Tom Fox of Christian Peacemaker Teams.
The comment did not feel in good order to me because (1) news of Friend Tom is covered elsewhere, and (2) I am concerned that the long comment was posted without first consulting me about that possibility.
I do not write blog posts lightly, nor do I remove comments with an easy heart. Ministry is ministry, but The Good Raised Up is for sharing leadings, thoughts, and experiences around a certain theme. I am open to directing readers elsewhere when others encourage me to do so, as the above commenter has done indirectly.
I know the saying: "It is better to ask forgiveness than it is to ask permission." But I don't abide by that saying as often as others in our s/Society do.
